Tony Z. Garrett
|
Tony has been the Associate Pastor at Southern Oaks since 1989 filling multiple roles.
Currently he oversees the Music Ministry, Adult Education and is the Church Administrator.
Tony is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music.
He also holds a Masters of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Tony’s wife Teresa is the Librarian at the Caldwell Arts Academy of Tyler ISD.
Their daughter Taylor is married to Hunter Rath and lives in Irving.
Tony and Teresa both are members of the Al Fine Little Big Band and enjoy performing on the jazzier side of music.
