Director of Childrens Ministries

Jennifer is the Director of Children’s Ministries at Southern Oaks where she and her husband, Darrin, have been members since 2002.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a specialty in Early Childhood.  Jennifer has many years of experience in childcare and was formally the Nursery Supervisor at Southern Oaks from 2007-2010.  Jennifer has been married to Darrin for 12 years.  They have five children, Micah—11 years, Hudson—8 years, Anna Kate—7 years, Jared—4 years, and Colin—1 year.

Jennifer’s Philosophy Statement for our Children’s Ministry:
My purpose for this ministry is to build a foundation in our children by teaching them God’s truth in His Word and guide them as they build their relationship with, and passion for, their Savior, Jesus Christ.
