Guest Speaker: Donnie Barron

Donnie Barron will be our guest speaker this year. Donnie is a former Army Ranger and Big Deer hunter who has killed huge deer. He has a true love for God and a shared love of the great outdoors. He also serves on the Board of Directors for CHAA (Christian Hunters & Anglers Association). He travels throughout the area speaking and giving lectures on Deer management and hunting.
Donnie will give some practical advice on hunting trophy whitetails and deer management, share some personal stories from his own hunting adventures and how it applies to life.

Wild Game Food Contest
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in the following categories:
· Fish
· Wild Bird (Dove, Quail, Pheasant, Duck,..)
· Big Game (Deer, Elk, Hog, Bear)
· Other (Chili, Soup, Stew, Gumbo,…)
· Desserts

There will be a drawing at the end of the Banquet for great Outdoor Prizes such as:
· 1/2 day Guided Fishing Trip
· Children's prizes
· Outdoor Gear
· Rod & Reel combo
· Gift Certificates to Local Stores

Food: All Southern Oaks Baptist Church members are required to bring food. If you do not have a food item to be entered in the contest, you must bring some kind of vegetable (green beans, baked beans, potato salad, etc.) Bring food @ 5:00 and serve @ 5:30.
Nursery will be provided by reservation for children 3 years old and under after the meal. Call or email Andrea Freeman for reservations at least one week in advance.
